I stumbled upon this lovely place while traveling along the Cabot Trail, and it turned out to be a true gem! The views are stunning, especially when enjoying breakfast on the deck. While the travel trailer we stayed in was a bit cramped, the convenience of cooking our own meals right by the beach made up for it. However, some aspects of the service left much to be desired, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, I would recommend it for the views but approach with caution regarding service.

The Sea Parrot offers stunning oceanfront views and a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. The rooms, particularly the cottages, are modern and incredibly well maintained, making for a delightful stay. Lonnie and Roy are exceptional hosts who ensure that guests feel right at home, and Lonnie’s breakfasts are a highlight. However, while the location is convenient for exploring the Cabot Trail, there might be limited dining options nearby.

We had a memorable family stay at this resort, enjoying a unique experience in a boat room with stunning ocean views. The grounds are well-kept, and we appreciated the flexibility of breakfast options provided by Lonnie. On the downside, one of our rooms was quite buggy and lacked air conditioning, which was uncomfortable during our visit.

I had an incredible stay at the Sea Parrot! The accommodations were immaculate and offered unique charm. The beach access was perfect for collecting shells, and the nightly campfire experience made our trip even more memorable. The distance to the grocery store and nearby artisan shops was a bit of a trek, but it was manageable. Overall, it's a fantastic place that I highly recommend for anyone traveling through Cape Breton.
